Maine Yarn Cruise

Maine Yarn Cruise

Maine Yarn Cruise
The Maine Yarn Cruise is about to start! For those who haven’t participated before, the Maine Yarn Cruise is not an actual boat cruise, rather it’s a summer and early fall yarn crawl. You can reserve your passport and project bag today. Then start your cruise on Monday and visit as many shops as you can before October 14th.
We will be offering monthly and grand prizes. You'll get entries into the raffles just for visiting to get your passport stamped, plus bonus entries for making purchases at KnitWit Yarn Shop.

There will also be a knit-along and a crochet-along with the cruise. You will get discount codes in the bag for your pattern, and there will be additional prize drawings for those who complete the project by the project end date!

The knit-along project will be the Belclare Shawl by Erineen Designs. This project requires 2 full skeins of fingering weight yarns. We think these yarns would be gorgeous for this project.

The crochet-along project will be the Sedona Bag by Alison Green. This project requires 4 100g skeins of worsted weight yarn in 2 (or more) different colors. We think these yarns would be perfect for this project.

  • You can see the list of current shops and where they are located here: https://www.maineyarncruise.com/start-cruising/plan-your-route/

I can’t promise any shops will or won’t participate next year, but the spread over the state will likely be similar.

  • good morning, i’ve been on your email list for years and i’m trying to plan my next summer’s vacation. what better thing to do then go to the yarn cruise?

okay so without knowledge of next year, what shops are in this year’s cruise. maybe or maybe not they will be in for next year but it would give me an idea of how far apart your shops are. then i can generally plan for this.

given that the cruise is all summer, are they all over the state or so?

thank you, i live in Pittsburgh PA so this would be a long vacation for me with tons of driving. i can only hope.

    thank you,
    maureen
