Falling for Fission Knit-Along

We’re so excited to announce a new Knit-Along, starting Monday, November 3, 2025!

The Falling for Fission Scarf by Mary W. Martin is a gorgeous cable project that teaches the innovative Fission Knitting technique, creating a different cable motif on each side of the fabric using two marled yarns held together.

You’ll get step-by-step YouTube tutorials, community support, and pattern sections released for free throughout the KAL. (You’ll just need to be comfortable working basic cables.)

KAL Schedule

🧶 November 3: First section released (cast-on + cable setup)
🎉 November 5, 8:00pm EDT: Kick-off Live Stream Party (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
🧶 November 7: Main 12-row repeat section released
🎉 November 17: Final section release
🧶 November 19, 8:00pm EDT: Final Live Stream Party
🎉 November 30: Last day to submit pics for prize drawing!
